Love.
One might say it is naive to love
too easily
True,
it may be naive
to believe
that all are good,
that you will always get back what you have given
and be valued as dear.
That is naive.
But when was love to be contingent upon what one deserved?
Held, and
rationed out according to
measured
worthiness?
Is the definition of love then not defeated?
Wasn't
Love defined
the day He gave all
despite
our unworthiness?
unhindered,
determined by
who He is rather than
what was deserved?
It is not naive.
By definition it is
the only way
it is meant to be given.

but that He loved us
For God so loved
that He gave.
Love.
Love easily.
